Lisa Emsbo-Mattingly is a Director of Research in the Global Asset Allocation (GAA) Group at Fidelity Investments.
In this role, Lisa is responsible for leading the Asset Allocation Research Team in conducting economic, fundamental, and quantitative research to develop asset allocation and macro investment recommendations for Fidelity’s portfolio managers and investment teams.
Prior to assuming her current position, Lisa was head of economic research at Fidelity from 2005 to 2010 where she built a winning track record of combining economic insight with investment recommendations. Lisa also worked as an economic analyst responsible for developing econometric models of industry performance in the market. Before joining Fidelity in 1996, Lisa was an economic analyst at Eastern Research Group and an economic analyst at DRI/McGraw-Hill (now IHS Global Insight). She has been in the investments industry since 1990.
Lisa earned her bachelor of arts degree in economics and government from Oberlin College and her masters degree in economics from Boston University. She is currently President of the National Association for Business Economics and is the former president of the Boston Economic Club
